He chose the private sector and worked as an electrical contractor for a few years. Then he expanded his business to include supplying electric engineering materials which he was successful with. As a supplier, he succeed to deal with several international companies and attracted their attention as a commercial partner. Some of these companies were looking for an agent in Iraq to represent their interest and they found in Mr. Taha's firm a suitable associate. In 1989, he decided to establish his own company (The Eastern Company for Commercial Agencies) under the umbrella of Taha Group (Family Group) His hard work with the assistance of his staff in the different fields of engineering has resulted in the success the Eastern Company has reached. . |
